I’m a music producer, songwriter and artist with experience producing my own music for release, as well as creating music for TV and film.
My own work has received major Spotify playlist features, triple j airplay and Unearthed support, giving me a practical understanding of what it takes to take a track from an initial idea through to a release-ready production.
MY APPROACH
I’m not interested in making every artist sound the same.
The goal is to understand what makes your song work, then use production, arrangement and sound design to bring that out. Whether you’re starting with a voice memo, a rough demo or something that’s already mostly there, we can figure out what the track needs.

Our Process
Chapter 1 - Submit Demo or Brief
Every great project starts with an idea, a feeling, or a sound you can’t stop thinking about. Before we begin the conversation, we start with the brief. This gives us a chance to understand who you are as an artist, what you’re creating, where you want to take the project, and what you want the listener to feel. Tell us about your creative intentions, your influences, your vision for the project, and what you’re looking for from StoryBeats. If you have a demo, rough recording or initial idea, we’d love to hear that too. This first step gives us the context we need to understand the project and determine whether we’re the right creative fit before moving into the call.
Chapter 2 - The Call
This is where we put the brief into conversation. We’ll talk through your ideas, ambitions and creative intentions in more depth, explore what you want the project to become, and start to uncover the opportunities within the music. It’s a chance to ask questions, exchange ideas and get a feel for how we might work together creatively. Most importantly, we want to understand what you’re trying to say as an artist and begin identifying what the project needs to become something truly distinctive.
Chapter 3 - The Sound Session
We dig into the song, the writing, arrangement, references, influences and what is already working. Most importantly, we figure out what the song needs, rather than forcing it into a particular sound.
Chapter 4 - The Soundworld
This is where we define the sonic direction. We explore references, textures, instrumentation, dynamics and emotion to create a clear vision for how the finished record should sound and feel.
Chapter 5 - Creation
This is where the track comes to life. We develop the arrangement, sounds, instrumentation and performances, shaping the production around the identity of the song. Whether we're building from a demo or refining an existing production, everything has a purpose.
Chapter 6: Listening Party
Once the production is where it needs to be, we bring everything together in the mix. We refine balance, space, dynamics, depth and tone to create a mix that feels cohesive, emotional and translates across different listening environments.
Chapter 7: The Release
The final stage is mastering. We give the finished track its final polish, ensuring it is balanced, competitive and properly prepared for streaming, distribution and release. From the first idea to the final master, one creative process, one sonic vision, one finished record.
My Experience
My production experience comes primarily from developing my own releases and creating music for TV and film, rather than working as a traditional high-volume studio producer.
That means I bring a very hands-on, artist-focused approach to production — from the initial creative idea through to a finished record.
